Structure, Timing, and Class Program
The TOLC-I (Test OnLine CISIA – Ingegneria) is an admission test required by many Italian universities for entry into engineering, science, and technology programs. It is organized by CISIA and delivered online in official test centers or remotely. The exam evaluates logical reasoning, mathematics, and basic science skills that are fundamental for success in technical and engineering degrees.
Preparing with a structured course helps students strengthen their problem-solving abilities, review essential math and science topics, and become confident with the test’s timing and format
TOLC-I Test Structure and Timing
The TOLC-I is composed of four main sections plus an English language test:
Mathematics (20 questions, 50 minutes)
- • Algebra, functions, equations, inequalities, geometry, trigonometry, and basic calculus.
Logic (10 questions, 20 minutes)
- • Problem-solving, logical sequences, and reasoning skills.
Science (10 questions, 20 minutes)
- • Basic concepts from physics and chemistry.
Reading Comprehension (10 questions, 20 minutes)
- • Academic texts and short passages with questions testing understanding and inference.
English (30 questions, 30 minutes)
- • Grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension in English.
Total Test Time: about 125 minutes (plus English section).
